Children's Privacy Notice

Last updated October 22, 2026 · Version 2026-10-22.1

Who this is for

BAMS Academy is used by children. A child does not create their own account: a parent or legal guardian creates the account and adds the child.

This notice summarises what we collect from children, why, and the choices parents have. It supplements the Privacy Policy.

What we collect from a child

Name or nickname, grade, practice and assessment answers, progress and scores, and, only where a parent has enabled it, content a child submits to AI features such as the AI tutor.

We collect only what is reasonably needed to provide the practice features.

Parental consent

Before a child's account is used, the parent is shown a notice and asked for consent. We record the consent with the notice version and the time. Consent for AI features is a separate, optional choice, and AI features stay off until the parent consents.

Parent rights

A parent can review the information held about their child, ask us to stop collecting it, and delete the child's account and data from the parent dashboard under Privacy & Consent. You can also email us and we respond within 45 days.

Sharing

Child data is processed by service providers that run the platform, such as cloud hosting, payment processing for the parent, and an AI model provider for AI features the parent has enabled. We do not sell children's personal information.
